Craig Melvin was just interviewing Senator Jeanne Shaheen on MSNBC right now and asked her about the reports of the Clinton's making in excess of $300 million from speaking fees since 2001 (over $300 million? Holy shit!) and asked if that was a good idea.

She danced, she danced hard, at first she didn't answer the question at all and went off about Mars isn't a planet or something and then Craig confronted her and cornered her. Her response;

"This is in the past, just like Bernie's socialism is in the past".

This did not happen in 2008. She went into the caucuses only a few points behind in the polls, according to the last Iowa Poll that was released the Saturday before the caucus.

She had a solid core of support throughout the fall going into the 08 caucus.
