Bill Clinton Uses Facts to Destroy Romney’s Claims About the 47 Percent

By: Jason Easley

snip//

If you read between the lines, President Clinton was telling America that Romney is just another member of the super rich and his comments about the forty seven percent are what a lot of wealthy Republicans believe. Clinton showed the difference between a leader who understands who the working class of America are, and a candidate who has absolutely no clue.

Bill Clinton used history and facts to show Mitt Romney and everyone on the right who shares his beliefs how wrong they are about nearly half the country.

The giant contradiction in all of this is that Romney claims to value work, but he doesn’t want to reward Americans for working hard and taking care of their families. Mitt Romney has no clue what it is like to be middle class or a member of the working poor in this country. As evidenced by his own remarks, he appears to be absolutely clueless as to who half the country is and what their daily lives are like.

Mitt Romney is running for president based on a country club ideology that looks down on everyone who isn’t rich. Romney seems to believe that by virtue of their wealth, the super rich are superior human beings. This attitude leads one to believe that Romney isn’t running a presidential campaign. He’s engaging in a hostile takeover.

President Obama and the Democrats still feel your pain. Mitt Romney and the Republicans think you are a deadbeat.

If this is part of the argument that Bill Clinton is going to take to voters on behalf of President Obama, Mitt Romney is in a world of trouble.

many of whom "pay" in other ways ... troops are "in harm's way" and elders worked and supported families for many years. And the disabled children...many of whom a parent forgoes that 2nd income as a labor of love at home.

And I have yet to hear anyone intelligently, if ever so delicately, outline the "deals" that the deadbeat corporations receive...who apparently can't make a sizable enough of a profit without the largess of the taxpayer. But corporate welfare sounds so, well, Liberal and Whiny. Chances of getting them "off the dole" are pretty slim, I'd guess.

I am sick of Mr. Romney.
Sick of hearing him.
Sick of hearing about him.
Sick of seeing him.

I am part of Mr. Romney's 53%.
I have worked hard all my life.
I have never received food stamps, but never begrudged helping those who needed them.
I have never needed to use unemployment insurance, but never thought it "wrong" to use something that individuals pay into for just such emergencies.
I have never used Medicare, but believe it is a good system I have paid for and that, with careful management, will be there when I need it.
I have yet to take social security, but have paid into it my whole working life and expect and demand that it be there for me and for my children and grandchildren.

I am sick of Mr. Romney.
His vision of America is NOT mine.
And want him to go very far away very very soon.

Funny enough, I'm part of the 53%, but in income, I'm probably at the bottom 20%.

I "make too much" for job training.

I "make too much" for food stamps.

I "make too much" for medicaid(haven't seen the doctor in over 10 years).

I've paid federal income tax every year, even though I have disabled dependent.

And Mitt Romney, who has an income of 40 Million per year, dares to release a doctored tax form to show he pays 13% taxes...when he pays closer to 5%?? He DARES to condemn ANYONE for not paying their fair share?? And he assumes I'd be interested in what he has to say about cutting taxes??

He really has painted himself as an advocate for the 1% only. Too bad 70% of America thinks they're in that category or will be with the next roll of the dice.

Using 2011 data, a household income of $250 puts you at the 98.3 percentile of income. To place your self, the following

$15K - 17K 20th
$17.9 - 19.9 K approx 22K.

It you allow me the first two digits, I've taken the FICA household income figures and numbers and worked things out. I hope this shows you above the 20th percentile.

I'm sitting around the 45th percentile.

did you see how pleased he was when he was talking about the poor China girls working in that factory, If he got in office along with getting rid of all Union jobs and lowering minimum wage he would lower the pay for the population of the USA. The rich would make more money a lot more people would be working.
