On a totally superficial level Romney came off better. He was not asked any hard questions and was able to pretty much smirk his way through the whole thing. Yes, he was pressed on specifics--his answer--I'll let you know.

Obama looked like he had the weight of the world on his shoulders--well he does of course--but in in the all important game of appealing to low information voters does thoughtful win or does chirpy, superficial charm carry the day.

The Repubs will pounce on this thing for sure.
