like $50,000 a week are boring to the fabulously wealthy.

Meanwhile, vast majority of the country struggles to make the rent.

Three weeks rent for her equals paying off my entire mortgage. A single week's rent is just under the nation's median income.

Bernie Sanders net worth of $528,000 (not tons for a 74 year old man)

Hillary Clinton's net worth of 31.3 million fits in with this group much better than Bernie:

They can afford it. I can afford to rent a condo for a week when I go on vacay every coupla years. A few years ago I had some extra money and got to send my daughters' family to Disney world. I was not always able to do those things but I'm glad I can do it now.

Not pointing at the Clintons, but just in general everyone is obsessed with having large spaces and big houses. Whenever I'm in a large empty space I get anxious and feel weird. Personally would prefer a small cabin overlooking the water or something.

I much prefer big cities to the country and i, hope, to one day be able to live in NYC. But even then I don't want a huge penthouse or anything. I think I'd go nuts and all that empty space just seems wasteful.

So why on earth would you waste all that money on a house with rooms and spaces that you could never fill??? What really gets me, though, is when rich people buy multiple homes all over the country - or the world. It seems like a huge headache to me.

Bernie Sanders Courts Martha’s Vineyard Donors

Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont has risen in the polls thanks in part to his denunciations of the forces of concentrated wealth, drawing thousands of liberals to hear his jeremiads against corporate power in early nominating states and liberal hubs such as Madison, Wis.

But Mr. Sanders quietly stepped off the campaign trail this weekend to visit Martha’s Vineyard, a favorite summer destination of the country’s elite, in order to mix with representatives of some of the same interests he inveighs against in his stump speech.

Mr. Sanders attended the annual Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee fund-raiser on the Massachusetts island, a popular gathering that draws some of the most prominent business lobbyists and fund-raisers in the Democratic Party.

He wasn't their fundraising for himself.

Mr. Sanders attended the annual Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee fund-raiser on the Massachusetts island, a popular gathering that draws some of the most prominent business lobbyists and fund-raisers in the Democratic Party.

If he refused to attend and help the DSCC, then people would be whining about how he does nothing to help Dems raise money.

A hit piece when you read the whole thing.

One prominent attendee, a supporter of Hillary Rodham Clinton’s presidential campaign, suggested Mr. Sanders’s appearance suggested he was more pragmatic than his rhetoric would let on.

“Bernie is attracting throngs and has a wave going preaching against the one percent,” said the attendee, requesting anonymity to speak candidly.

The criticism illustrates the rising irritation among some establishment-aligned Democrats with Mr. Sanders, an independent who caucuses as a Democrat.

Can you give me some context to HRC's $50,000 a week rental that would make explain how that kind of expenditure isn't outrageously tone deaf?
