Bernie Sanders is a bright shiny object?

I am simply befuddled by this inference. Bernie has been involved in govt long enough to see how it works and knowthat without getting the people involved nothing will change. Okay, a lot of people hadn't heard of Bernie, I'll agree with that but a bright, shiny object?

Secondly, Bernie has a wide variety of issues he has discussed so how in the heck is he a one issue candidate? The one issue I know they don't want the focus to be on is the way money has corrupted the system.

Heard about the Obama interview on CNN which has been in full Bernie attack mode.

Obama: You’re always looking at the bright, shiny object that people haven’t seen before — that’s a disadvantage to her.”

Note: Interesting how some sentences were really moved around from the transcript.

1. I know that tone from Obama.

It's the same tone he used to dismiss civil rights (marriage equality) as "not a priority, and actually I'm still on the fence about it ever since I entered the White House".

I ignore Obama every time he uses that tone. At best, he has "a plan to bring along the A-A community". But probably, he's just being cynical and status-quo.

2. No one outside Vermont barely knew of him so I think it's a valid remark.

I don't think it's the denigration you take it to be.
