2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumFeeling good about the CNN Town-hall and Gov. O'Malley
At first I was a little leery.. and then the more I thought about it.. the better I have been feeling
Out here on the western borders of Iowa.. we have a LOT of uncommitted Democrats headed to caucus.. and now that I have found out the the CNN Town-hall tonight is going to be a 30 minute Q&A with each candidate.. I have been on the phone all day calling people I know who are Democrats and undecided to watch..My church directory has been on speed dial
I usually do not do that, and I hope Martin hits it out of the ball park..but this should be a good way to settle things in the minds of a number of people I know.

(12,655 posts)i think with all the debate unfairness, if he tries to sandbag bs or mom it will be painfully obvious to everyone.
is the audience asking questions, too? that would be interesting.

(1,095 posts).. so the town hall is important. I just hate that 15% viability nonsense in IA. I think that hurts him.

(22,877 posts)Boy is this ever a peoples campaign.. door knocking.. even old Huckabee has commericals up.. ROFL.. the more people get a chance to hear him.. I mean they just really like his plans..
The caucus system is something we have had to live with since the 60's.. the thing is..no one.. and I mean no one.. not even President Obama is viable at every caucus.. so getting the people out there is hugely important.. and Kerry was at I think at 7 % at caucus time.. and he walked with it..

(1,095 posts)If I was at a particular caucus in which HRC wasn't viable, I'd march right over to the MOM group. I think most HRC supporters would do the same.

(22,877 posts)If we are not viable at our caucus I will have to pick another candidate.. At first I thought..poohey I will leave caucus.. but that is never going to happen.. I want my voice heard..
