Right-wing media attacks on Democratic presidential candidates

do not belong on DU. They simply do not. I don't care which candidate is attacked. It's offensive to see stories from blatant right-wing sources, like NewsMax or other such garbage publishers on DU. Very offensive.

Just because something has been published does not mean it is valid. Please consider the source before posting. If it's a valid story, you'll be able to find it on a legitimate news source as well. There is no need to post from right-wing sources here.

Instead, stick around and comment when it happens, or vote to hide if you're on a jury over it.

This place runs on a community standards moderation concept. If the community decides not to allow something, it can act when it happens. As DUers, we're all part of the community. If we're not here, we can't play our part in it.

Bernie Sanders calls himself a Democratic Socialist. I don't consider that an insult, really.

It's not an argument against Sanders, in my mind. It's certainly one the Republicans will use in the general election campaign, though. That will be something to consider, regarding electability, I'm sure.

Did you find that story in the right-wing media? If not, then it has nothing to do with my OP.

"Democratic" didn't precede socialist. So no, I did NOT find that story in right-wing media. I watched it with my own eyes and heard it with my own ears.

It wasn't meant to be an insult as much as it was meant to be rhetorical legerdemain intended to ring a subconscious bell in the minds of those watching.

RW or LW, an attack on a Democratic candidate for President gets the same result, and thus the same reaction.

Post a link and I'll go watch.

I actually turn it on at 5:25 or thereabouts after showering for work but my DVR lets me go back to the beginning of the program. Cuomo was sitting with Harmon as the show started. He first started talking with Harkin about how Hillary answered the question concerning trustworthiness, and after that it didn't take 30 seconds for the word "socialist", NOT preceded by Democratic, to come out of his mouth.

I don't know if it reruns during the day.

Any slanted, biased reporting that makes Sanders look bad or misrepresents the facts is just fine here. But once it's aimed at Hillary, then the Sanctimony and outrage comes pouring forth. This is not a two-way or across-the-board condemnation, it's only meant to protect Clinton.

focus on attacking Hillary and pretend to support someone else, but this will change if Bernie wins.

When I say Karl Rove I mean his group and by association other rightwing entities which spread propaganda.

Getting control of the WH means trillions in profits to the right.

Getting control of the WH means legislating hatred of and mistreatment of minorities, Gays, Women, etc.

Make no mistake, what W started, they have every intention of finishing.

Another post with a right-wing source, attacking Clinton, was also hidden by a jury. I don't really class the Washington Post as a right-wing source. The Washington Times, yes.

The post that was hidden used a reference to NewsMax to attack Hillary. That was the one I was thinking of.
