D'Souza is nothing more than a carnival worker or snake oil salesman in disguise; an opportunistic slug who has no problem whatsoever feeding the ignorant masses of right wing conspiracy nuts all the manna from heaven they can stand...he is of no interest to me and a proven charlatan and serial liar...

What IS of interest to me is how so many people can view his propaganda and BELIEVE it...not like wishful thinking or pie-in-the-sky belief either, but honest to god, balls-to-bones core belief in this trash. I have argued with people who think that film is the most damning thing in the world, but there is simply no shaking them off of their central position that Obama is "other" and "evil" and "trying to wreck this country".

They invariably live in the Fox "News" bubble and listen to conservative radio like its needed to breath, but they also are so thoroughly indoctrinated that I believe November is going to be a real system shock for them. The facade that Fox hides behind is much like the great and powerful Oz - all bluster and theatrics, but really nothing more than a small and ugly lie behind it.

In Oz, that lie was that the Wizard was nothing of the sort and really powerless. On Fox, that lie is that the rich actually give one tenth of one shit about the rest of the world and that Fox is giving its audience the only straight news, when really neither one is even remotely true.

The actual truth is that the rich feel EXACTLY the way Romney talks about the rest of the population - like they are gum on a shoe bottom or worse-yet manure in a pasture - something to be barely tolerated and constantly bitched about until it is no longer present. Something intruding into their sacrosanct existences with the temerity of flies at a picnic ruining the beautiful scenery.

I really wish those people living under such a manipulative and degenerate group of huckster's influence could be freed, but I do not see how its possible while they remain sequestered away from reality...its a damn shame too.
