NASTY weather forecast for Iowa Monday night - how will caucus turnout be affected?

I live in the eastern part of the state, but a winter storm may very well hit a good portion of Iowa including the major cities around me as well as the largest population center, Des Moines.

NE winds 20-30 (with gusts upward of 40) mph, 80-90% chance of snow - 1-3 inches expected.

For what it's worth, it was *really* (single digits) cold in 2008... but no snow. DaGimpster Jan 2016 #1

And record turnout. It's not like we hold these things outdoors, and Iowan's are well accustomed to inclement Winter weather. If it would affect anyone, it might be less mobile people or the disabled.

and older people are going to have a tougher time in bad weather, i would say better for bernie and om and worse for hillary

but people in iowa are used to this so who knows...

stop them. If any campaign is organized, too, they will make sure that older folks, for example, are picked up and taken to the caucuses.

But then that's the million dollar question isn't it? Who, if anyone, will be looking for an excuse not to go out?
