(15,951 posts)There are lots of caucus sites in neighborhoods around the state that it usually wouldn't be a problem to get to one.

(115,828 posts)said the snow wouldn't start until much later in the evening. I think the caucuses start at 6:30 or 7:00, so the voting should be over in most areas before the snow gets heavy.

(3,964 posts)winter is coming
(11,785 posts)back to school Monday night... maybe. Depends on how far they have to go and when the snow starts in earnest. Or they might decide to spend the night with their families and miss class on Tuesday.

(115,828 posts)to join in antiwar demonstrations back in the '60s. If they're serious enough to go to a caucus in the first place they'll cut a class or two to do it. In any event, if the snow is really bad on Tuesday some classes will be either called off or thinly attended anyhow, since not all students live on campus and might decide to stay home.

(24,010 posts)...through the caucus hours, and then 30% chance of showers starting at 11 pm going up to 50% chance by 2 am the next morning. The storm (rain, snow, wind) doesn't hit until 6-7 am the next morning. This was for Iowa City. I'll check some other cities.

I was wondering where the OP prediction is from. It seems wildly different than weather.com.

Des Moines is similar.

Davenport - even less chance of rain/show. (0% to 10%, 6 pm to 10 pm)
