it means people will be forced to take him seriously - and that includes the media. All he needs is a chance, and he just got it.

Bernie speaks and people listen. That's why the media has given him so little airtime.

That's about to change and more and more people will hear him speak.

The surge will continue.

The media haven't actually done much "attacking," either. They love reporting on the size of his rallies, and he's gotten a bunch of tv interviews.

But most of all, there's a whole lot of talking heads in the MSM who would like to see Hillary taken down a peg or three, and Sanders' campaign is handy for that. They also breathlessly report every goddam thing cooked up by the GOP about Hillary. I don't see them doing that to Bernie. As a consequence he has hardly been vetted at all in the media. He's called himself a "Democratic Socialist" for at least 40 years, so I scarcely see how anyone using that appellation can be said to have attacked him.

As for Hillary -- she's running very hard against Trump and Cruz, and in the meanwhile she is moving further and further left in her public statements, which is pretty much thanks to Bernie.
