Brown -Warren Debate

I acknowledge I have a personal bias- so what I think I see in the debates may be due to my personal perceptions.
But there are a few things I have noticed and hope someone here has Tivo or something and will be able to review the debate and verify if what I think I see is really there.

1) The moderator seems to allow Brown much more time for responses than he does Warren
2) He seems to be cutting Warren off much more often
3) He seems to rather condescending to Warren and ask stupid questions like 'the do you believe him calling your Professor' clap trap but not allowing her the time to 'correct' the misrepresentations that Brown has made about her record and always allowing him extra time to 'defend' his voting record.

If someone has tivo can you please do an accounting of the time each is allowed to speak, and the number of times he 'cuts off' Brown versus the number of times he cuts of Warren. How many 'follow up' responses does he allow Brown versus how many 'follow up' responses he allows Warren. I think I see a pattern here but again it may just be a product of my personal bias be nice to have some 'data' to see if my perception of the debate matches the reality of it.

1. It seemed like he gave Brown opportunities

to respond to Warren, then told her it was time to move on when she wanted to respond to Brown. But despite that, I think Warren definitely held her own and won the debate.

2. You're not wrong. This a what you get when Rove's henchmen

are allowed to moderate debates.

7. Speaking of ROVE!

Since Brown loves to keep saying he is an INDEPENDENT, the next time they debate, Warren needs to remind the audience that Karl Rove's SuperPAC is funding Brown.

How many 'Independents' does Rove give money to?

3. I did not see the whole debate

only the last 15 minutes. It seemed to me that he had a good ol' boy attitude toward Brown and that he had an old fashioned school teacher tone with Warren.

However, Warren's summary was SO much better than Brown's.

Hopefully, that is what voters will remember.

Oh, and Warren's line about how she's trying to change the fact that Mass has never elected a female governor or Senator!

I would be interested to see the time allowed to respond by both candidates, as well as answers to your other questions.

6. What will get more play? Warren saying she'd give Valentine one more year or Brown touting Scalia???

Bobby Valentine is the manager of the struggling Red Sox. And we all know who Scalia is, and that man was Brown's FIRST answer when he was asked who he saw as a model Supreme Court Justice. I know many people from Mass. are disappointed in Valentine, but are they more disappointed in Scalia? Brown really stepped on it with one. (Then the smarmy flipflopper tried to recover when he went through a list and then threw in Sotomayor. What a PUKE !)

8. Brown showed his true colors with the Scalia answer.

First he chooses a Republican, then when booed, tries the swing vote, Kennedy, then when the booing continues, he blurts out Sotomayor. And when Gregory presses him to name his favorite of the three, he refuses. Brown also refused to answer the Red Sox questions. Wow, what a brave candidate.

I doubt Brown won over many voters with his wishy-washy performance tonight.

9. Brown needs to be finished off

1) People need to know he is being funded by Karl Rove's SuperPAC (how many 'Independents' get funded by Rove?)

2) Brown's fundraisers and advertisements in the past boasted that he was the one who stopped Obama & the Democrats from having a Super Majority in 2010 (despite his attempt to portray himself as an Obama lover)

3) He has opposed the Affordable Care Act, yet admits that his children benefit from it

10. Most unfair debate ever

Brown was let to ramble on and on to many times and Warren was cut off and cut short.
David Gregory should never be allowed to run a debate again. What a joke.

I posted it early this morning.

It's an article and a clip by Think Progress where it shows how David Gregory falsely claimed that Obama said Al Qaeda has been defeated.

Hundreds of people are signing a petition for his removal as Meet The Press moderator.

12. Just finished signing the pledge

They have approx 2500 of the 3000 signatures they need.
I did read something earlier today about the false claim David Gregory made.
