I think there is room for them in our tent.

I think it's okay for them to vote Democratic.

I think it's okay for them to vote for their own self-interests.

I think it's okay for them to realize that the Democratic party today, is where the Republican Party was yesterday.

Slowly, we can steer them back to the progressive ideals they once admired.

Slowly, we can convince them to steer back to the left.

And slowly, we can steer the Democratic party back to progressive ideals.

Slowly, we can turn this country back into a real democracy.

3. I still kinda like Jon Huntsman.

There are some decent Republicans out there.
Am friends with quite a few of them even if they don't have the same political ideals.
Will I date one? I have no idea... Most of them are Russians(excuse me some are Ukranian), I considered it at one point, but that hasn't worked out.

Any how, as long as we don't take things personal, we can discuss politics with some civility.

5. I'd like to think it's possible...

that somehow the people of this country might come together in a common interest, and work towards a better future, regardless of political leanings. That everyone would recognize we'll make this country what it can be by working together instead of against each other.
