Not clear to me if the candidates can ask each other questions or if this is just a joint press conference.


edited to add:
The moderator will open each segment with a question, after which each candidate will have two minutes to respond. The moderator will use the balance of the time in the segment for a discussion of the topic.

...i know applause is usually allowed but sometimes they explicity prohibit any noise from the audience....
