For Our Debate Eve Pleasure: When Our Prez Ate the GOP for Lunch

It was such an enjoyable afternoon. The most compelling TV. Each time I think of it, it always brings a big smile to my face.

I'm looking forward to tomorrow night's debate. Truly, I am.

A toast to our President.

Obama Goes To GOP Lions' Den -- And Mauls The Lions

President Obama traveled to a House Republican retreat in Baltimore on Friday and delivered a performance that was at once defiant, substantive and engaging. For roughly an hour and a half, Obama lectured GOP leaders and, in a protracted, nationally-televised question-and-answer session, deflected their policy critiques, corrected their misstatements and scolded them for playing petty politics.

So effective was the president that Fox News cut away from the broadcast 20 minutes before it ended.

He chastised Rep. Mike Pence (R-Ind.) for calling his economic agenda radical and poked fun at the GOP's own platform. "I am not an ideologue, I'm not," he said. "It doesn't make sense if somebody could tell me, 'You could do this cheaper and get increased results,' then I would say, 'Great.' The problem is, I couldn't find credible economists who could back up the claims that you just made."

He rebuked a questioner who insisted that the monthly deficit is higher now than Bush's annual deficit. "That's factually just not true," he said. "And you know it's not true." He lampooned Republican lawmakers seated in front of him for portraying his health care legislation as "some Bolshevik plot." He mocked Republicans for railing against the stimulus package and then showing up at "the ribbon-cuttings for some of these important projects in your communities." And he did it all while calling for "a tone of civility instead of slash and burn will be helpful."

debate tomorrow night. I think everyone will be able to tell what a difference there is between a real leader and a wannabe (Romney). I have no doubt that Obama will outdo Romney because Obama doesn't have to remember which lie he told about any specific issue, like Romney. The truth is easier to remember than different lies told at different times as Romney has done.

The debate will probably bump Obama's rating up a new more points.

.....about remembering what he has said in the past, or even if it is the truth. It is all sanctioned by his mind's belief that it is every bit justified because it is for the 'greater good', as in the teachings of his church of LSD.

That is the reason why it is going to be such a delightful experience to watch the debate, as well as afterwards with his crash from delusional reality, when he first learns that no one believed him.

Queen anne has said that she is worried about the health of his mind, but I'm sure that she knows not of the real reason why her concern is so justified.

he knew from the getgo that he was going to just get up there and tell lies - and boy did he ever. We can call Mitt the Big Whopper from now on.
