(9,745 posts)she can't keep the same story and keeps changing it to sound like her opponent, just like her last run. Every time his 'stump' speech is heard by new people, he attracts more supporters. So it's working. Not sure what there is to complain about!

(34,825 posts)I was at a work function and missed the debate. Did she play up her new "game-changer" rebranding tonight?
Just more "Meee Tooo!" after every response Bernie gave and then she added some more slanderous snide remarks that Bernie had to correct over and over. It was funny watching her make a claim and then watching Bernie totally put her in her place with actual facts and Historical context.

Tweety pointed out Bernie's redness, wild hand gestures and the way he snapped his fingers constantly to get the moderators' attention, as if he was calling for the head waiter. He also commented that Bernie always has to get the last word in.

The revelation has helped me to understand her support of the use of cluster munitions, a terrible plight on mostly children ever since they were first used.
Human life appears cheap to her, just as with Henry Kissinger.

(3 posts)It doesn't take a genius to see clinton in numerous videos struggling to even fill a room on the campaign trail let alone gather crowds like sanders and then notice how deliberately constructed her support is within the venues for every democratic debate
Why is Hillary running her campaign like a crook/republican
litlbilly
(2,227 posts)It sounds like there were more Hillary supporters in the crowd. I didn't think Clinton brought much other than the same distortions against Sanders that she always uses. She needs them because really can't argue that a country as rich as ours can't move to single payer, among other issues. And the anti tax stance is a cover for not wanting to shake up the establishment. We shouldn't be sounding like Repukes on taxes. No one likes taxes, but it you benefit more from the programs, I would pay them.

(10,500 posts)AUTOMATED MESSAGE: Results of your Jury Service
On Thu Feb 11, 2016, 11:05 PM an alert was sent on the following post:
Hillary Won the stacked crowd noise award, Bernie won the debate, hands down
http://www.democraticunderground.com/12511207547
REASON FOR ALERT
This post is disruptive, hurtful, rude, insensitive, over-the-top, or otherwise inappropriate.
ALERTER'S COMMENTS
Allegation, without evidence that crowd was "stacked"
You served on a randomly-selected Jury of DU members which reviewed this post. The review was completed at Thu Feb 11, 2016, 11:11 PM, and the Jury voted 2-5 to LEAVE IT.
Juror #1 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: No explanation given
Juror #2 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: Hillary supporter here. This is harmless posturing.
Juror #3 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: Cheap shot post with no substance.
Juror #4 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: Alerter seems to think crowd was not stacked. IMO, it was. Anyway, this is a case of an enthusiastic post that the alerter disagrees with. And so it goes.
Juror #5 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: No explanation given
Juror #6 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: No explanation given
Juror #7 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: I'm a Hillary supporter, as I was in 2008. And I think that the claim that the crowd was stacked is silly. But I hardly think this warrants a hide.
Thank you very much for participating in our Jury system, and we hope you will be able to participate again in the future.

(10,500 posts)In fact, there were two stated Hillary supporters on the jury who voted against hiding. If we had voted the other way it would have been 4-3 to hide.
I just can't imagine that there was any kind of conspiracy to stack the audience.
On the brighter side, it sounds like you have a really cool job.

(24,010 posts)And I wonder if people who think Hillary won this debate know any history. Cuz a lot of what Bernie Sanders was talking tonight was HISTORY and LEARNING FROM history!
Anybody who knows history knows that you don't have HENRY FRIGGING KISSINGER as a foreign policy adviser! Sanders was brilliant on that point. Anybody who knows history knows that Iran is the way it is today BECAUSE of U.S. "regime change" in Iran in 1953--the overthrow of a democratically elected prime minister, to serve British oil interests. We've been doing this for 50 FRIGGING YEARS (he didn't say "frigging" --with Kissinger in the lead during his reign of terror in Latin America, Southeast Asia and elsewhere--and nobody stops to consider the "unintended consequences" of U.S. regime change, which always been bad to very bad.
He mentioned Iraq and Libya, in recent years, and his warning about destabilization of the ME.
How can anybody say he "lost" this debate--with history and reality entirely on his side? He also pointed out that Kissinger's "opening to China" let to the out-flood of U.S. jobs and manufacturing!
Jeez. He was so ON. And so RIGHT.
I want this man as President of the United States, and NOT someone who turns to Henry Kissinger for advice!
That is "hands down" for me.
