What, he just noticed? He's had three decades at least to notice this shit. He's probably spent the whole time chortling about "those deranged liberals" with the rest of them, and like last week, took a look around and got a good eyeful of who's actually deranged. Maybe he just now found out the Republican candidates want him to go back to work (Ryan) so he can pay more in taxes (Romney)

And he's still hugging the Republican party, so he can't be that ashamed.

Fuck him.

Cheering them on when they're trampling the poor, women, minorities, LGBTs, etc, and suddenly becoming horrified when you learn they plan to gore your ox is not the moral high ground.

This summer, a few weeks before her 93rd birthday, my mother formally left the Republican party after more than 70 years of very active membership. She also used the word "ashamed", along with a few others that let us know that she meant it. She very much feels betrayed by the current GOP: "I don't know these people, I don't want to know them, I don't want to be associated with them in any way."

Well played, GOP, well played.

I'd say reelected but that wasn't really the case was it? I didn't hold the 2000 votes against my Republican friends because they really couldn't have known how bad it would be. That second time though, there was no excuse for.

Maybe we'll see more of them wise up? You can't blame them for thinking they could put Bush behind them and hope to recover by running someone respectable. That didn't happen. The teabaggers saw to that. Now their only hope is that Citizen United pays off. That's probably the only reason they won't get buried. Many Republicans don't realize what they've done or the price they may pay.

If someone is recirculating this photo it would have been nice to have known beforehand. Like most here, I thought this a recent image.

And ashamed, as well, for what his support, and votes, did to this nation.

Empty "Patriotism" is the last refuge of a scoundrel.

Having said all that, I wish no ill upon him. He finally woke up, apparently. I wish no ill upon anyone, but do wish they'd get the fuck out of my life and my gubmint!
