I'm going to bet that given the opinion that Obama didn't do well last week the strategy for Biden will be to be very forceful. To call Ryan on his BS and make him give specifics which he does not have. And if he gives any specifics they certainly won't be favorable to the middle class if he is honest.

Biden is a long term statesman and senator. Ryan is really still a junior ass in the house.

How's that next marathon going Paul?

To kick ass, take names and ask questions. In that order.

After last week's lackluster performance by the President (not epic fail but not stellar either) the Obama team has probably decided that they cannot afford any more weak debates. Obama's supporters were expecting him to box Romney's ears and instead got see him appearing bored, distracted and less than willing to take on Romney at all.

So that means Biden has to rip off the gloves and lay into Punk Boy right out of the shoot! And I know where I'll be. Sitting ring side, with popcorn and a good, cold drink. Kick him 'til his nose bleeds, Joe!! I'm not sure who needs the spanking more....Romney or Ryan but for Thursday night, I'll settle for Paul.

He had to be tame last time because of Palin. Didn't want to come off as bullying the younger woman. There's a reason she used that "can I call you Joe" line when she walked out, they wanted to play that angle.

No need to hold back this time. No one is going to be mad at Biden if he destroys Ryan in a debate, Ryan is not popular.

If they go tame this time around too and we see a repeat of last week, I'm going postal.

Game Change, afterward Joe told the Obama team "you guys owe me - it took every ounce of discipline I had to hold back". And he still came at her with facts and knowledge. He said that Cheney was the most dangerous Vice President in the history of the US. . I loved that!

He was able to show that Palin didn't know what the fuck she was talking about but never personally attacked her.

Which is a good thing. A CNN poll showed more people expect Ryan to win then Biden. That can be used to his advantage. Many, many people forget then in 2007 Biden was a really good debater in the primaries. I mean, he ruined Rudy Giuliani with one phrase, "a noun, a verb, and 9/11." He was also really funny. And he handled Palin well but can be more aggressive with Ryan. I think many Repubs are in for a surprise because they never really watched the early primary debates in '07.

He is off the cuff and SINCERE....which i REALLY like. & He is a seasoned politician. I have no worries as to how he will do in the debate b/c i can't see him acting in any othervway that what he already does--he speaks his mind. Skippy will throw out some bullshit and biden will respond. If anything, i think he would have to work really hard to NOT respond.

Plus, i like that he is personable and can relate to the blue collar workers just as well as the white collar workers. I think this debate will go much better....

Thats the problem he has a way of going wild. He knows all of our concerns and he can articulate them but sometimes he goes off message trying to hit the grand slam. What we need here is solid base hits, do not go for the knock out.

No one really cares about vps to start with. Romney just pick ryan to firm up the base as romney is to liberal for most republicans. In fact Romney was very liberal in mass. Gun control check, state medical check, for abortion check, etc. He had to get Ryan to balance his record, but it means nothing they will go with Romney's plan when it is all said and done. Just like Reagan for 8 years or Clinton for 8 years , It was not about bush or gore.

This race is about Obama and Romney.

Oh and dont dismiss Ryan he is sharp as a tack and cannot be rattled. He will stay on message and he might push Joe's buttons. Biden must stay on message and not let the smart ass out of the bag. It will be fun and I hope Obama finds a better coach than Kerry before his next debate.

Second, the people care about this VP contest because people, especially seniors, are aware that the little weasel wants to steal SS and Medicare from them.

Third, Lyin' gets pissy when he's questioned and we all know how accurate he is when making claims. Marathon time, anyone? He volunteers 'facts' that no one asked for, 'facts' that are easily checked and revealed to be lies! His arrogance is off the charts. If Joe pushes all of Lyin's buttons about his revered Ayn Rand, we might see real fireworks.

Personally, I can't wait for Thursday.
