I suspect he has no real skin in the game (so to speak) vis a vis the democratic primary, although i would imagine he doesnt appreciate Trump and Hillary using "free speech etc" and "the usual complaints about free speech" as red meat eyeroll and applause lines in speeches to authoritarian audiences, when waxing enthusiastic about the need to censor the internet.

Oh, and there's that pandering flag burning law Hillary sponsored, more hostility to the 1st Amendment. She should probably make some kind of statement respecting free expression and committing herself to the bedrock principle of liberty enshrined in the 1A.
