If Obama is a man of his word, he should not endorse Hillary

One of Obama's pillars was that he would not have lobbyists running Washington. And now here we have not ONLY the DNC lifting the rule to not accept campaign contributions from lobbyists, but many of Hillary's Super Delegates ARE IN FACT lobbyists.

I'm voting (and contributing and volunteering) for Bernie because FUCK THIS SHIT!

If it's Bernie, he'll endorse Bernie.

If it's Hillary, he'll endorse Hillary.

Not too complicated.

Can I ask . . . do they turn your corn flakes green too?

He is a consistent corporatist, though. I'm a Delawarean and I've always supported him, but he has let me down a few times on major, major things (when he knew better) that make me think he is very much a 'party' animal.

I'll be delighted to be wrong.

He did endorse the Establishment, though. All we need to do is roll back corporate behavior to where it was about 20 years ago and everything will be fine.

<yawn>

If Bernie Sanders is all that DU's more enthusiastic Bernistas think he is, it doesn't matter if the President endorses former Secretary of State Clinton or not, because their boy supposedly has the Democratic Party nomination already in the bag.

No, just cynical and amused. I'm also old enough to remember McGovernites and John Anderson fans, too.

As for the typical Bernistas mindset, I'd say that some Bernistas need to grow thicker skins or wear the Big Girl Panties made with Kevlar. If they're this sensitive with their fellow Democrats, just wait 'Til they get in the ring with vile, lying, a-calumny-a-day-makes-me-feel-OK, cheating, $#!xx-throwing Tea-Baggers, Republicans, and Religious Right bigots.

with the Clintons or the DNC didn't constrain him, what he would be saying.

2008 Barack likely would've been supportive of Bernie, but what about the Barack who has lived through all his years at the center of the political maelstrom?

If he endorses Bernie, the DNC Machine will grind him up faster than cheap hamburger and he'll be through as a member od the Democratic Party.

If he endorses Hillary, he'll kiss off the millenial vote forever for the Democratic Party and be labeled as bought and paid for, going against what elected him in the first place.

If he endorses one and the other wins the nomination, he'll look like a fool.

TPP is worse than NAFTA, you know.
He's already a corporate democrat while he might be deluding many democrats otherwise, and possibly, himself as well.
He's already alluded to his preference towards Hillary, because he's counting on the next president to finalize TPP. I won't be surprised if he does endorse her. And then we will be looking at virtual party fraction -even if it's not a physical fraction, the electorate will be divided beyond repair.
