2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumHillary Folks: how will Hillary respond to Trump's charges that she's easily bought?
Trump will run either as the GOP nominee or third party. Remember that he has had mafia ties for decades, and no doubt learned some tricks from them along the way. All he'll have to say is "I donated to the Clintons, so they had to do whatever I asked!" There's no doubt he'll have records on hand to prove it, too. He'll honestly be able to say that he's never done the same thing. But then again, neither has Bernie!
Trump has already said that the Clintons attended his third wedding because he donated to them so "they had to". What will Hillary's response be when he's easily able to prove that she can be bought?

(31,935 posts)he isn't anyone's hand puppet. He serves the American people. Meanwhile, Hillary still takes money from people that she describes as "enemies": http://www.usnews.com/news/articles/2015/10/14/hillary-takes-millions-in-campaign-cash-from-enemies
So again; how will she weather it if he has one of their "transactions" as a recording or set of emails?

(31,935 posts)this has nothing to do with Hillary's gender. He said the same about Jeb, but Jeb (probably) won't face him in the general election.

(31,935 posts)"Trustworthiness" is rated as a top concern for voters, and Hillary gets a very low score in that department. People are angry about political corruption in this Country. If Trump can easily prove what he's said-that his donations to Hillary and Jeb caused them to jump when he called them for favors-then she's pretty much done before the G.E. race even gets underway.
