We can't have a sustainable society if it is basically rigged to benefit a relative few at the expense of the wellbeing and futures of the vast majority. And only one person running for president wants to put us on a track to get to that third figure on the bottom.

The actual distribution of income is also very unequal but, IIRC, it's more equal than the distribution of wealth.

The main reason I mention this is so that nobody cites this chart incorrectly and gives someone an opening to point out an error. I completely agree with you that the distribution of wealth as shown in the chart is a threat to a sustainable society.
