2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumWe are lucky to have 2 great candidates!!!
I think that is getting lost right now. Sanders and Clinton are two outstanding candidates for President and both are more Liberal than any President we've had before.

This quiz might put this Primary into a different light for some people. I side 97% with Bernie Sanders, that is pretty close to an ideal candidate for me. I side 95% with Hilary Clinton, again, fairly close to an ideal candidate. I bet I wouldn't side 95% or 97% with my own wife.
I support both of these candidates and am excited to vote for either of them in November! People are failing to see the big picture, Bernie and Hilary agree on just about everything.

(7,830 posts)Too bad we can only trust one of them, because he's been consistent while Hillary has changed stances on just about everything just in time for primaries with her liberal activists who she doesn't agree with but has to try to "woo" now.

(19,066 posts)When I took the quiz I figured I'd be lucky to get a candidate I was 80% in agreement with, I consider some of my views to be more Conservative and Libertarian, but to see Bernie and Hilary really up there for me makes me realize we have a great primary goiing on right now.
I trust we'll all come together behind whichever candidate wins, A President Trump, or even worse a President Cruz would do serious harm to the country and the world. We simply cannot afford to attack our own like we have been doing.

(11,546 posts)98 % Jill Stein, 97% Clinton.
Weird.
That's pretty remarkable.
So here we are as Democrats who agree on 97 key things, but we're focusing on the 3 things we don't see exactly eye to eye on.
I love Bernie and have been following him for a long time, but this election is too important to let people bash Hilary because they love Bernie.
I don't think people appreciate the gravity of the situation. Ted Cruz or Donald Trump would utterly destroy this country and maybe this world. George W Bush would look like FDR in comparison to either of those 2.

(10,879 posts)I sent it to several family and friends.
A few found out they weren't nearly as conservative as they thought they were.
That was, of course, my evil liberal plan when I sent them the link....lol.

(19,066 posts)Yes, distribute this, I bet it would surprise a ton of would be Reps. And some of them would still vote for people they don't agree with just because they've been brainwashed.
