So you burden students with a mound of debt. What impact do you think that has on the economy?

What does that do to their buying power (buying a new home, a new car, etc.)

Oh well, it will enrich the banksters.

Have you figured out yet: Corruption breeds incompetence.

for profit colleges that prey on students.

Somebody should do a chart about how many ways students and their dreams of having just a little slice of the American Dream are being preyed on by the big banks and billionaires.

Most of the jobs created since the Recession are lower-paying. Graduates are having to settle for service-sector jobs, not jobs they're qualified for. We're looking at an entire generation of underemployed college graduates, barely able to pay bills and the education debt, and unable to provide an economic boost. Millenials are now the largest group, bigger than the Boomers. That's a mighty big drag on the economy if nothing is done.

Don't students and their families enter into financing contracts for education expenses?

I never went to college.
