2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumAnyone see David Brock on Morning Joe? There was a definite sense of "Ugh" among hosts
Mr. Brock, Hillary's verbal hitman, was a guest on Morning Joe this morning. He delivered the usual nonsensical and distorted talking points about how Bernie has to be exposed.
But what was weird was the "vibe" on set. Cranky Joe and Mika asked the obligatory questions, listened politely and then asked the next obligatory question. At one point one of them flatly asked "Alright David. But what can you say positive about Hillary?" And he gave a route response.
But they were disengaged in a very odd way. They didn't challenge or agree or anything. None of their usual banter, neither snide or supportive.
Their deadened manner matched his. They gave off a definite sense of "This guy is a toxic loser, and let's just let him spout his crap and get this over with."
Maybe I was projecting, but it sure seemed weird.

(12,629 posts)Senator Sanders had serious reservations of President Obama to the point of suggesting a primary challenge to him in 2012.
And Hillary is the "heir"; to first, President Clinton's prosperity from the '90s, and to all the achievements on the economy that President Obama has made...
Yes, he said "heir". Probably not the best word to use, but quite telling.
