Is this primary a repeat of Howard Dean vs. John Kerry in 2004?

Howard Dean, Vermont politician who opposed the Iraq War before it started.

John Kerry, who voted for the Iraq War.

Democratic primary voters decided Kerry was more electable because he was more centrist and had more foreign policy experience. But he didn't win the general election.

...from the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth saying "John Kerry lied" because he supposedly didn't get injured enough in Vietnam to deserve his medals.

Democrats were only energized by the swift boat stuff. It only hurt him with Republicans and some moderates.

With Clinton, there are Democrats who are already turned off by her character... before the Republican smear machine even ramps up.

But folks have been trying to 'Dean scream' Bernie out of the race and failing miserably.

Problem is, people appreciate Bernie's version of the "Dean Scream" because he's using it to tell the truth,.

To Your Point About Kerry Not Winning The General Election, Remember America Was In The Midst Of Two Wars & Historically Speaking Rarely Has The Country Voted Out The Commander in Chief,Who Happened To Be The Architect Of Those Wars, During A War.

Besides Hillary Or Bernie Will Not Be Campaigning Against Bush Who Like It Or Not Energized The Republican Party To Its Core...

The Donald Will Not Be Hard To Beat In A General Election. He Is Terrible At Debating. He Basically. Took The Sarah Palin Crash Course In Politics & He Has Alienated The Republican Party, So Don't Worry About Hillary Losing The General Election...

that Howard was considered a centrist. Actually, this being Vermont, he was seen as center right. His fights with the more liberal legislature were... colorful.

That's why sanders did not support him and why he is supporting Clinton.

Dean didn't win a primary. I do expect Sanders to come up short in the end, though.

by every measure (supporters, fund-raising, experience, consistency of platform, success at the ballot box, etc.).

The only commonality is that Clinton/Kerry would/did not inspire much enthusiasm and would/did lose in the general election.
