Sanders generational appeal does not cross racial lines
West Long Branch, NJ Hillary Clinton continues to hold a large lead over Bernie Sanders in the
South Carolina primary according to the latest Monmouth University Poll. Clinton is seen as the stronger
candidate on issues of concern to African-Americans and those who are struggling financially.
Clinton currently holds a 59% to 30% lead over Sanders among those likely to vote in South
Carolinas Democratic primary next week. This is down somewhat from the 69% to 21% lead she held in
November, but is still a sizable margin.

(2,052 posts)3. Not entirely unexpected
If I am on team Clinton this looks good...
Team Sanders can take a couple of positives, but nothing earth shattering.
-Only 45% of people are decided on a candidate
- 29% have a slight preference or are undecided
- From November he is up 9, she is down 10
Again, solid poll for Clinton. Poll basically accounts for the same male/female and black/white turnout as 2008 as well as age wise (though poll is very slightly tilted toward an older electorate)
She wins Nevada and these numbers should stay the same. He wins, these numbers shrink.
Saturday is a big day for both camps.

LOL at Hillary's pollsters who keep trying to pretend here victory is inevitable with their constant demographic skewing.

(97 posts)7. Let's see what the polls are like after Nevada...
When this is over, Hillary and her Wall Street donors will be crying in their Champagne.
