2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumAnd...we're off in Nevada
Doors are open and registration has started for the Democratic Caucuses. Voters have to be inside by noon (Pacific Time). The Nevada Caucus will follow largely the same rules as Iowa, with two rounds (if necessary) of stated preference for candidates. An entrance poll is being conducted by ABC; results should be released once the formal Caucus process begins.

(275 posts)I don't want to get spammy (just created a post at top level), but if you're at the NV caucuses today, I hope you will report your precinct level tallies (not delegate counts) to http://opencaucus.org.
(Our pitch: The Democratic Party only records delegates won by each candidate. We need YOU to share the results of individual votes at your precinct, otherwise we will never know! report at site above or tweet results to us @opencaucus.
Opencaucus is an unfunded program run by political scientists and political science students in the United States. We are not paid by any interest group; we just want to compile the popular vote and make it available to the public.)

(275 posts)No, you're right, it's possible. But someone has to try. All we get from the party is delegate counts, not on the ground info that we should know. We're hoping for multiple reports on each precinct...which might make the data more robust.
