How long did the racial smearing last in 2008?
I wasn't paying as much attention then as Obama was my third choice at that time. I remember Hillary race-baiting then, did her supporters do it as much then as now? Did it last this long?
The attempt to bring down Bernie based on race issues has been happening consistently since day one of his campaign. So it's been many months now of this non-stop barrage of smears, outright lies, about Bernie regarding race issues.
Was this tactic of throwing out a prominent civil/equal rights advocate out to say something then castigate Bernie supporters for standing up to it used back then against Obama supporters or is this a new dirty trick?
Did people try to make this about Bernie supporters being racists last time as they are now, even though the way they are doing it is exploiting the very serious issue of racism for political gain?
I seem to remember Obama's community work being belittled, was there any civil rights work that he did that was attempted to be erased from his past? Or made to be 'quaint' since it was 'decades ago'? (nevermind that Bernie's fight for social justice for all has never waivered over the span of his public service)
Did "Obama boys" die a quicker death than "BernieBros"?
Is this different this time? Has it reached new depths?
