Why I Support Bernie (but will still vote for HRC in the General if the Nominee)

There is one RESOUNDING message right now in all of the polling and results during this primary season (exaggerated in the Republican Primary, but still visible in the Democratic): people are FINALLY, ACTUALLY fed up with the Establishment (TM) and are mobilizing against it.

Donald Trump is fucking TROUNCING the competition right now; I see no path for Cruz or Rubio to get the nomination at this point. Trump appears to be snowballing his way to Cleveland. It's actually breathtaking to watch.

A recent poll shows Bernie leading Hillary by 6 nationwide. That's ASTOUNDING given that she was the presumptive nominee a few short months ago. And it's been a steady climb for Bernie as people get to hear his message.

Both represent an ACTUAL, REAL break from the Establishment (TM). Trump is self financed; Bernie has no Super-Pac. Trump actually vocalizes every crazy thought that right wing bigots/zealots/racists are thinking already, but STILL doesn't mind sticking to his guns, falling just short of calling George W. Bush a War Criminal in the South Carolina debate (I remember him saying that he'd tell Bush, "You're FIRED!" during the 2004 election because of how much he hated the Iraq War). And yet, he STILL ran away with SC.

Bernie is an avowed socialist Democrat, a supporter of single payer, and has proposed higher taxes and using this to pay for education. These are "radical" ideas, and yet, no one is turned away by this. Hell, TRUE STORY: my ex mother-in-law is a lifelong conservative, very old-school, and is the type to FWD me stupid anti-Obama and anti-ACA emails, knowing I'm just going to rip her to shreds. She actually uttered the words, "I'm probably voting for Bernie if it's him vs. Trump" the other day. I was fucking FLOORED.

They both are RUNNING AWAY AND HIDING with the youth vote.

In the aggregate, that's why I think Bernie would be the strongest candidate against Trump and why I will vote for him in my primary. He's just as anti-establishment as Trump, but with actual ideas for the American people (not just stupid, empty platitudes like "Make America Great Again&quot . I think Hillary will suffer with independents as the Establishment (TM) candidate against the anti-establishment candidate (and make no mistake; that's how that race would be framed, as much as it should be framed as "fucking INSANE" vs "rational", although, we see how that worked out for Jeb).

HOWEVER, and herein lies the rub: I will of FUCKING COURSE vote for Hillary if she's the candidate!!! Are you KIDDING ME?! People talking about "staying home" or "sitting out"... I have one thought for you: A CRIPPLING (for a generation or more) 6:3 Conservative advantage in the Supreme Court.

SIX TO THREE (assuming that the Notorious R.B.G doesn't live forever). Kiss everything we've fought for over the generations goodbye forever. That's hardly the "lesser of two evils" or "no difference". It's a BIG FUCKING DIFFERENCE. That's all; that's my plea. Let's not fuck ourselves if we don't get the candidate we want.
