Locals were crying out for help, and it was a state issue, and a few interested parties were trying to make it more visible, but it was her "Big Finish" at the end of that debate that focused the spotlight on the place--suddenly, all the media cared.
Great ad. Compelling.

This is precisely why candidates are reluctant to be candid with voters. It is to their electoral advantage to simply "drink the Kool-Aid" and pander to the voters who will decide their fate at the ballot box. So long as the pandering does not appear too blatant, it is a time-tested operational tactic that, when employed correctly and adroitly, can win the day for a presidential candidate.

and I really don't recall efforts on behalf of Flint by Bill or Hillary or the Foundation prior to this. I can list many great things the Foundation has done which I support strongly. Flint has not been on that radar as far as I can tell. It could have been. Maybe it was. If so the OP should tell us about that.

She is laying the ground work for the GE. A large black turnout should ensure Michigan is not in play in the general.
