And used to scare America into supporting a mass incarceration state.

It was a way to scapegoat people of color for the problems of social decay in a failing system.

Instead of creating jobs and stable communities the system prefered to just lock people up and politicians used themes like superpredators to sell it.

Hillary Clinton was a salesperson for the mass incarceration state. Just like she had been a spokesperson for walmart economics and nafta.

Walmart economics and corporate trade deals like nafta cut the foundations out from under our communities, leading to massive displacement and crime.

And the response was to demonize the poor and throw them in jail.

There was a while SLEW of things done by Bill & Hillary during that time which were all parts of a larger racial picture they were playing to. From Sista Soulja to "super-predators" to welfare reform -- all were ways to play into/allay the fears of white Americans. The only "gangs" being talked about in those days were black or brown, period.
