Let's play a really silly hypothetical game about the Supreme Court

Assume nomination and confirmation are guaranteed.

Obama comes to your candidate (Either Clinton or Sanders) and offers to put him or her on the Supreme Court. As a supporter, do you want him or her to take the offer to guarantee his or her voice is a pivotal part of defining our rights for the remainder of his or her life, or do you want him or her to stay and fight it out in an uncertain election? Keep in mind, if you decide your candidate should go on the Supreme Court, it guarantees the nomination for the other candidate.

Again, super silly, but we all need a little break from the antagonising each other once in awhile

---------

As tempting as it is to accept, I'd want Clinton to continue her run.

You're right. Super silly. nt valerief Feb 2016 #1
I honestly wouldn't want Clinton serving in either capacity whatchamacallit Feb 2016 #2

They are both too old. And I am afraid Bernie is not qualified? bettyellen Feb 2016 #4
Sanders is unqualified for either. His views on guns would be terrible on the Court. nt LexVegas Feb 2016 #5

the hypothetical nomination and confirmation being guaranteed, but even so.

At this point it is much too early for either candidate to give up. Plus, I honestly don't see either one as a good potential Supreme Court Justice. And, I'd vastly rather my candidate become President.
