Yep. There is no way for her to tap into this anger. And that is why she can not win the GE. (nt) jeff47 Feb 2016 #11
I don't think anger is necessarily the motivator, so there is certainly an element. merrily Feb 2016 #18

Morass:

"any confusing or troublesome situation, especially one from which it is difficult to free oneself; entanglement."

And bad Presidents don't win two terms?

So W was a good President? Reagan?

I see.

Nothing matters! Stop trying to vet people! If he's a bad president he just won't get a second term!

I have no clue what Trump's appeal is. Whatever it is, Hillary lacks it.

There's a whole lot of very unhappy people in the country. It's obvious, even to Republicans, that our government is broken.

Trump expresses that rage, and then directs it towards various "others". It's not your fault that you are barely scraping by. It's those people.

Clinton lacks it because she fundamentally is an insider. She can not rage against the very system she thrives in.

I think people are desperate, confused and frustrated. They don't know what to do anymore. They are grateful for someone who tells them it's not their fault. Etc. I think it's so much more complex than anger. We have one of the most productive work forces in the world and they can't find full time work. The Boomers lived so much better than their parents had during the Depression---until they got into their fifties--and they've been watching their kids struggle. Etc.

Having alienated 1/2 the Democratic base, having NO Independents (remember them? 43& of the
electorate), and universally hated among Republicans.

for even daring to question Hillary Clinton.

I also remember those damned law firm Whitewater documents showing up long after they were requested in the 1990's.

Oops, there I go again, questions her veracity.

Coupled with her untrustworthiness, she would make a spectacularly bad president.

A "notion"? Isn't it obvious she does have something to hide? Withholding them wouldn't be worth this horrible PR if she didn't.
