"I really like Bernie and love his ideas. But Clinton can win and get things done."

That seems to be the driving force in this primary. The media and Democratic Establishment is hammering it home and it seems to be taking hold.

I hope Bernie can still pull it off.

But I hope those millions of us who believe a shift in direction is needed both to salvage the Democratic Party and to stop the descent of this country into an Oligarchy run by Wall St. and Monopolistic Corporate Empires don't have to say "WE told you so" in November. Or (if she wins) four years from now -- or when the next episode of Disaster Capitalism strikes hold."

Wanna call it sour grapes? Fine. But more like a sense of profound disappointment and seeing handwriting on the wall.

1. The problem with this narrative...

...is that it makes absolutely zero sense combined with the other things she's saying.
- I'm a progressive!
- I agree with Senator Sanders on a majority of issues!
- (not a quote) She regularly takes his platform and uses it in her speeches

If the above three things are true, she should face the same obstruction Sanders real. That being the case, the only difference between them is that Sanders actually believes what he's saying. He's also the only one being honest about the obstruction they would both face from the Republicans (if Hillary actually sticks to Sanders agenda).

to upset Hillary-though it's hard when Bernie keeps underperforming. They don't care who wins as long as they sell ads and keep ratings up. Bernie disappointed them tonight with his blowout loss. They will keep him propped up. Count on it. The media just wants to make money and if Bernie makes it for them they will help to keep it close.

tell all your friends about the two candidates' dismally divergent performances in the head-to-heads--"do you want Donald Trump to win?!"; remind everyone of all those DNC victories they've pulled off since 2010; note how Clinton's "getting things done" has such a high pass/fail ratio because she just follows the GOP lead

we've been going at this all HIGHBROW!

has the establishment, David Brock, SuperPAC's and lots of money to push this message.

We all know that Sanders is in an uphill race. We simply move on to fight another day.

Everyone thought OWS died. It did not. Most will say that Sanders movement won't survive. It will whether he wins or not. The left is finished with neoliberal New Dems.

At least not yet.

Progressivism is indeed on the verge of death. Neoliberalism has been strong and both parties since the 1980's. It is going to be very difficult to uproot it. And we still must fight and continue trying to do so. If not for ourselves, then for the next generations. My student loan debt is going to the grave with me. I have accepted that tragic fate. But I will be damned if I will accept that for the youth coming after me.

retake the senate with a super majority... and possibly retake the House with only a majority...

neither Clinton nor Sanders will get anything passed. Repukes HATE whichever Democrat wins the Presidency.

That said, winning the Presidency would allow either Clinton or Sanders to preserve the gains of the Obama (ACA, fair pay, etc).

Either will be able to nominate liberal to progressive SCOTUS judges.

Either will be able to issue executive orders to guide how the federal government operates. I trust Sanders a little bit more to do the right thing here, but Clinton would likely be safe.

got plopped into a safe Senate seat, that she got some stuff done, fine, but senators are paid to do that but she achieved nothing of note.

What she is going to do is start a war with Iran and worsen everything in the Middle East by being Israel's lap dog.

She is going to worsen the environment by permitting fracking.

She is going to absolutely destroy millions of lives once she signs TPP.

Pathetic.
