(35,015 posts)I wouldn't expect an Obama administration official to be responsible for Hillary's demise. Nope. Not gonna happen.

(23,664 posts)But if Lynch plays ball, and things work out correctly in November, I would expect Obama to wind up with a high paying gig with the Clinton Foundation.

(10,650 posts)I support Bernie. But we don't have to attack Obama on this. He'll let things unfold in their due course. I don't know enough about Loretta Lynch to say one way or another whether she would hinder an investigation. But, even if she wanted to, she couldn't do much now that the FBI is involved. They'll call the shots. If they ask for an indictment, that news will get out.
The fact that the FBI is investigating some of the emails is dangerous and it means that at the very least their is evidence, probably inconclusive at this time, of a serious crime. The FBI will go about building a case. Since we don't know what they've got and what they still need, we can't speculate on how long the process will take.
If Hillary is subpoenaed, the Democratic chances in November will be damaged because the whole campaign will boil down to her character. If Hillary is indicted, GAME OVER! The Hillary supporters will scream "Innocent until proven guilty!". Everyone else will shake their head and wonder how it came to this.
