How Are the Polls Looking Today?

I was a busy man today, saving lives and whatnot, by which I mean i slept for 12 hours and watched youtube videos all day, so I haven't had time to follow the polls. Now I don't trust RCP, so I need one of you to break it down for me. How was it looking today? Movement towards Obama, movement towards Mittelford Romenwell the III, or did we just sort of move sideways?

Why are you acting like such a Sad Sam anyhow? It's like every other post you make is like "oh, we's doom'd!" and all that.

Obama dropped a point in Gallup, picked up (I think) a point in Ras, picked up two points (still leaving him back a point) in Ipsos, moved into a slim lead in IBD/TIPP, and hung onto a tiny lead in Rand.

Oh, and I'm sure there were a handful of state polls released by dodgy, Republican-employed outfits showing Mitt catching up or in the lead, all of which will be accepted by Nate Silver as 100% reliable, thus proving that Romney might win.

We might get things moving the right way again with a little Biden Bounce. The momentum was with Romney most of last week, but Biden might have put some resurgence in motion with his excellent performance last night.

Next Tuesday night is gonna be make-or-break time for Obama, though. He's got to win that debate, and decisively, or it's over.
