(21,925 posts)I've seen my share of politicians lying in my 62 years but I can't recall any campaign where lying seems to be the major activity like this Romney-Ryan campaign.

Michael was always drinking. In a literary sense, I think it was a
purposeful stage direction -- a metaphor for needing to
cleanse the inside of his body of its filthiness, or some
insatiable thirst.
Ryan was nervous, had dry-mouth, no doubt. But he also
needed to cleanse the lies and deceit from his filthy soul.
ALSO, didn't Jim Carey's character in LIAR, LIAR have a scene
where he guzzled a whole picher of water ???? (how ironic and sweet)
