2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumWhy isn't TeamObama bashing the shit out RobMe on his FAILED Massachusetts record?
He was 47th in the nation in job growth.
He pledged not to raise taxes but increased fees BIGTIME.
He would not run for re-election because his poll numbers were in the toilet.
He is not now contesting in Massachusetts and is something like 20 or more points behind there.
Yes, get back to attacking him HARD on his Bain time but also, ATTACK HIM on his dismal ONE term as Governor of Mass.

(4,551 posts)Particularly now since Romney is talking about his record every day after avoiding it for months.
He keeps on saying he worked with a 2/3 Dem Legislature as an example of bi-partisanship, and Team Obama has been letting him get away with it.
At least Joe Biden brought up the fact that the Dem legislature and the state itself doesn't like Mitt!

(9,464 posts)And not just by Democrats. He also left the state GOP in shambles after his term. The MA governor's office was never more than a stepping stone to him, and the whole state knows that.

(1,843 posts)can't run on his record which is pure BS but let's put this Mass record out there and see if anybody could walk, no strike that, could crawl on it let alone run on it.

(4,119 posts)Mitt claims he won't do it because people will give him a hard time!
Obama needs to say that he released his, every other president released theirs, time for Mitt to do the same.
Needs to point out that in politics, especially as president...people give you a hard time everyday!
So man-up Mitt and release yours! And...if you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen!

(924 posts)But it's about time he has to railroad Romney, big time.
The few so-called undecided voters who may tip the balance want bloodsport. Unfortunately. They want to see Obama win in WWW style.

(22,651 posts)I remember recently some of these broke states (who have been forking over their state money to the private prison and school voucher corporations) asked to raise their gas taxes over the Federal limits.
They were told no. What happens if a Romney removes the Federal regulations that keeps states from price gouging on their state gas tax?
Remember ALL these political charities pay no taxes at all, so they don't care how high the citizens taxes are.
