I think I will lose it if I hear ONE MORE TIME from some Republican about how Romney is going to "reach across the aisle and be "bipartisan" ..something they claim Obama did not do..
I wonder how much bi partisanship Romney will get if he is elected and from day one the leader of the Democratic party says "his wish for Obama is that he fails' the way Rush the Blowhard said? And what if the leader of the Democrats in the Senate say their number one priority is to deny Romney a second term..if he is elected? And what if Democrats conduct a record numbers of fillibusters?
All the talk of how wonderful Romney was in Massachusetts in getting along with the Democrats is only because the Democrats agreed to get along with him..
Every time I hear the Repubs talk about their bipartisanship..and how they have it and Democrats don't..i feel like vomiting...
Is there anything they wont say? We all know the answer to that...there is absolutely nothing they will not say..no move they will not make and no rumor or charge they will not make in their ruthless grab for power!
I am Pissed...first thing this morning!!

In year three he started his presidential campaign and was absent. He ran around the country bad mouthing MA and slinked out of town with his tail between his legs after Governor Patrick whipped his ass.
on edit: correction - Governor Patrick whipped his lieutenant governors ass (Kerry Healey) - the r0mn0id thief knew he could'nt win so he used her as cannon fodder.

(3 posts)I too want to vomit everytime I hear the republicans talk about bipartisanship. Maybe I haven't been paying enough attention, but it feels like the fact that the whole "lets make Obama a one term president" thing was swept under the wrong on a grand scale. I don't care how long ago that statement was made, but I feel like that needs to be thrown in the face of voters constantly, because such a statement is COMPLETELY unacceptable and NO ONE should support a party with that type of agenda...

(53,475 posts)... they don't want any reaching across the aisle. Compromise is a dirty word. Their ideology should be 100% implemented when they're in control.
Anything less is traitorous to them, and they're afraid Romney will not meet their zero-tolerance threshold.

(4,551 posts)They are on TAPE saying it. That proves they are liars and that they deliberately slowed down the economy.
Team Obama needs to get this message out on the campaign trail!!!!!!

(43,049 posts)OK a lot of those vetoes were line item, but this is still not exactly "getting along" with the opposition. They were a lot better at working with him than he was with them.
Great article mentioning most of his foibles:

My personal favorite is vetoing a bill allowing students to refuse to do the dissections in bio class.
