U.S. media is very Capitalistic: They want to manufacture a horse race

I think the thread title speaks for itself. But has anyone followed the news media outside of the U.S? From Asia, Europe, or even Africa? There is no indication that when this is all done it will be this close based on what I have read and what I am watching. What will make it close is if enough Democrats buy into that narrative. Don't do it, and make sure apathy doesn't set in within yourself or you friends and family. Reality is if Democrats show up to vote, and half of the "Independents/undecideds" vote for Obama this election will not even be close.

opens the door to theft. How convenient. As long as average Americans think its a horse race, voting machines can be rigged to match that results. It doesn't matter the reality of it, it's all what they can lead us to believe, Rove and crew will do the rest.
I don't believe the horse race thing, it always seems to help the GOP, if they were up by a large percent would they help the democrats to keep it a horse race, I can't see it. Thats a meme to keep us from looking behind the curtain. We can accept that they do this for ad dollars, that's ok to sell the country out for money. How bad is that.
