Elizabeth Warren fails to endorse Bernie and his fans freak the hell out on her Facebook page

’m old enough to remember when Sen. Elizabeth Warren was the greatest progressive hero who ever lived as well as the subject of approximately 3 million articles suggesting — or plainly stating — that she was going to run for president any minute now. Now?….Okay….NOW?

Wait for it—– Now!

Dammit.

Needless to say she didn’t bite, instead saying she thought Hillary Clinton should run for president.

Specifically she said: “”All of the women — Democratic women I should say — of the Senate urged Hillary Clinton to run, and I hope she does. Hillary is terrific,” in a 2014 interview.

Cue Progressive Sadface

But New England neighbor Bernie Sanders fortunately stepped into the breach and the kids went all boy-band crazy for the guy who was free to say anything because he wasn’t expected to seriously contend. The idea was that a strong push from the leftier than thou crowd would drag Hillary kicking and screaming into the warm embrace of Democratic socialism or progressivism or liberalism or some kind of -ism of one type or another.

After Sanders of Vermont secured a primary win in the neighboring state of New Hampshire, progressives turned their starstruck eyes to Progressive Goddess Warren figuring she could seal the deal for Bernie in her home state primary with a Bernie endorsement.And then she didn’t. In fact, she stayed silent.

Cue Progressive Rageface

So they expressed their extreme dissatisfaction with Warren on her Facebook page on a perfectly anodyne post celebrating the appearance of the Fisk Jubilee Singers who performed “traditional spiritual and black American religious music” at Boston’s Symphony Hall back on Feb. 21.

Whatever, stupid singers. Facebook is made for ranting.

I really like Bernie, but I don't care for the antics of many of his supporters here in DU
