SIDS is just one of those weird and ghastly things. One has to assume the parents did the "back to sleep" rule and as is SOP nowadays, but sometimes, even with that, it just happens.

It sucks but it's no one's "fault."


That's a real tragedy, is what it is. The family must be shattered with grief.
