Men ... Women.. Young.. Old.. Gay.. Straight.. Transgender.. Married.. Unmarried, just for a start.. there are many more groups with points of view than breaking it down just to race alone..

Almost half of them are women. Add the small number of LGBT, Atheists, Muslims, Jews and racial minority Republicans to that, and you would have the majority of Republicans.

who is a different race.. who is older.. with a brother who is deaf.. and another who died of severe disabilities.. no one can win the general election just speaking to one or two groups.. especially in the Democratic party.. now republicans they seem to be pretty blanded out with one thing in mind .. hate of Obama and the Democrats.. but the Democrats have more on their minds than just hate of the other party.. And our standard bearer is going to represent a much broader group than just hate of the other..

straight DUers habitually post at us about our own issues including some who are quite upset when the same is done to themselves or other groups.
Let me tell you something. When any person tells me they oppose my rights because they follow the Bible, I expect them to follow the Bible. She does not.

So let's talk about that. Let's talk about how absurd it is for the candidate who openly opposed the rights of millions of Americans until 2013 to be shoved at me as the only candidate who cares about civil rights. What do you think is the message in that? What does it say about this Party's attitude about my rights? Not very much that's good.

You folks pick up LGBT when you wish, discard as you wish. It's been noticed.

You heard what I said, you dismiss it. That's what I said your crowd does.

In 2008 you were always against marriage equality yammering about the church and the Bible and how civil unions are good enough for gay people:
"f a hetro civil union is a marriage, and a gay civil union is a marriage, outside of what the churches define as marriage which no politician has any province over, what is the difference.

I am just flummoxed, outside of church traditions, that are available in a few churches, what is the difference?

If they both acknowledge the commitment of two people, and the legal rights involved, what is the difference."

You and yours were the very exact demographic we and mine had to persuade to stop opposing out rights. All those excuses. And now you present yourself with LGBT as your possession and that's not right. You are not the only straight DU doing this, and I'm sick of it. That high horse, you have no right to it.

Stop giving me orders. Engage or don't engage but do not speak down to me from on high as if that was your right, it is not your right, straight white majority person. Do not preach at me about LGBT and your candidate ever again.

That's it, I'm calling Hillary's campaign. This has to end.

We are a minority when it serves you forgotten when it does not. In 08 you were 'civil unions are the same, the church can do as it wants and the Bible says' and now you support the least favorable to LGBT candidate but you snap that rainbow flag to score points in a war you wish to make. I do not care for it.

I don't much care for the ethics of the Clinton Christians whom I call DOMAcrats because they all opposed equality until recently. Stop acting like you put on your comfortable shoes and marched with us.

Your entire cohort is full of DU's most anti gay people. Ugly histories all prancing around like they own us for Hillary.

Because of that, my GE vote is no longer a promise. It's just not. You folks would bargain away my rights and then laugh about it.

All of us here know that democrats have a big tent. And who is advocating that we only try to appeal to "one or two groups"?
