.................We believe Clinton can take the heat and deliver it right back in spades.
Missouri Democratic voters should weigh Clintons electability against that of Sanders, whose dismal performance in the Super Tuesday primaries all but ensured his eventual withdrawal as a candidate.
His socialist model might energize young voters with attractive ideas to improve the quality of life for people at the lowest economic rungs, but realistically, he cannot be expected to carry a general election if he cant even inspire a large percentage of Democrats to vote for him.
Americans are tired of political polarization and the domination of our national conversation by extremist blowhards. The choice of Clinton to lead her partys charge will force the GOP to present a more moderate and palatable option or risk yet another humiliating defeat.

(1 post)"DISPATCH": 'She is well on her way to leaving Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders in her dust in the Democratic primaries'
--No. She is ahead by 200 earned delegates with many states remaining that might tilt toward Bernie.
'. Whoever emerges as the GOP nominee probably will be no match for Clintons political mastery and knowledge of world affairs.'
--Political mastery? Hardly. She was a disaster as secretary of state, unless the Dispatch thinks that completely removing the whoe governing apparatus of a soverign nation, Libya, and leaving in its wake a destabilized region and a power void that is being taken up by radical jihadi terrorists who would love nothing better than to go after us as 'mastery'.
This exercise is Clinton playing with her new train set as SoS and is a reprise of her support of the disastrous policy of doing the same thing in Iraq. This support of the the IRaq War, btw, was the most widely help opinion in '08 by primary voters on why they did not vote for her.
So what has changed? Have we figured out now that the Iraq adventure, regime change, and perpetual wrfare in he middle east is a good and solid idea?
If you want our kids to mired in such perpetual warfare with someone with neo con hawkish predilections, then by all means, vote for Hillary CLinton.
If howecver, you want someone with the proper 'arm's length' judgement on foreign affairs and when to use themilitary and when not to in eaxctly teh manner prescribed by the Founders, then vote for Bernie Sanders. As Bernie has said, 'we want to be tough, but not stupid'.
Hillary, in short, has shown to be much to willing to acquiesce to the military industrial complex (MIC). See also her votes on the Patriot Act and its renewal, which indulge the MIC while at the same time significantly encroaches into our constitutional rights against undue searches and siezures with its massive warranltess on all americans.
THe 'Dispatch' and the voters must also realize that having all the shieks of the middle east on her Rolodex or on speed dial does not constitute 'knowledge of world affairs'.
