Enough with the damned finger wag! This country

is going down a shit hole, and we are talking about Bernie asking Hillary to quit being rude by lifting a finger in her direction? Good fucking grief! The Democratic Party better start thinking about the best candidate able to stick a finger in Trump's face and call him out as the asshole he is, and it ain't Hillary!

position of saying, 'Gosh I told you so' while at the same time watching what little democracy is left in this country get flushed down the fascist toilet.

Sorry, but if you think Clinton, the quintessential 'establishment' candidate can win against Trump, who is seen as 'anti-establishment,' you've got another thing coming. This is a year when the bases of both parties are in open revolt against that very establishment. She might have won in 08 because...McCain/PALIN, but she's not gonna win against Trump. No way.

If Hillary wins the nomination, I fully expect her to get absolutely facerolled in the GE. Then I have to decide just how much of a raging bitch I'm going to be to the more toxic and condescending Hillary supporters. I'd not normally have the slightest problem with doing that (not a nice girl...), but there have been plenty of Hillary supporters who have behaved with grace and with whom I've had good, civil debates here. I worry about "collateral damage."

even when we have to hold our noses while doing it. Most the time we're told we irrelevant and the party doesn't need us - but when a Third Way candidate loses, all of a sudden it's all our fault.

If Hillary loses it will be because she did nothing to win the support of independents.

If Hillary loses it will be her own damn fault, not the fault of those who supported Bernie.

Clinton has shown time and again that she doesn't give a shit about us, our families or the issues that would make our lives better. She can't hold a candle to Sanders on issues, so she has to resort to bullshit like this.

Mon Mar 7, 2016, 12:29 PM

They don't want to talk about how she will support the TPP. Or how her support of horrible trade deals, such as NAFTA have destroyed the country. They don't want to talk about how her personal income and her campaign--is fueled by Wall Street "donations" which are really bribes. They don't want to talk about her not releasing her Wall Street transcripts. They don't want to talk about the fact that she's under FBI investigation and that her IT guy was recently granted immunity. They don't want to talk about how she takes money from the private-prison industry.

So...they talk about finger wagging.

So...they talk about how Bernie stopped Hillary from interrupting him by saying, "Excuse me, I'm talking."

You would think that he told her to "fuck off" while they were chatting on the Senate floor.

No. They were at a debate. She interrupted. He said, "Excuse me. I'm talking."

What's really is sham (and a shame) is that here we are (Bernie supporters, including myself) talking about this bullshit. That's what they want. Aren't they so clever? We should pledge to just NOT talk about this. Let them have this ridiculous debate among themselves. We should not allow ourselves to get dragged into their non issue issues--that take the spotlight off of the issues.

And Bernie wins on the issues.

Maybe in the Bernie room, and in GDP...I think it is exactly correct, and every Bernie supporter should read it.

I was just reading the link about EGO depletion, and this goes hand in glove with your post.

http://www.democraticunderground.com/1016146473

An excerpt from the Salon article:

Poverty-stricken day laborers in rural India might wear themselves out simply by deciding whether to purchase a bar of soap. Dogs might waste their willpower by holding back from eating chow. White people might lose mental strength when they tried to talk about racial politics with a black scientist. In 2010, a group of researchers led by Martin Hagger put out a meta-analysis of the field—a study of published studies—to find out whether this sort of research could be trusted. Using data from 83 studies and 198 separate experiments, Hagger’s team confirmed the main result. “Ego depletion” seemed to be a real and reliable phenomenon.

That is what happens to us when we debate these ludicrous discussions!

that the only reason they are here is to wear us down, frustrate us and ultimately--make people drop out of the political scene and not care.

It doesn't work though. Bernie is getting more donations than ever and continuing on in this race.

I think most Sanders supporters, including myself, love a good debate and discussion. It's a form of entertainment.

So, maybe the "ego depletion" they're seeking will have to be amassed another way. Skywriting? LOL!

was part of their strategy. Heck that is why she interrupted him in the first place -- he was correcting the distortion.

She doesn't even know what she is going to say when she interrupts him. Watch, she just says loudly "You know...." so she is interrupting him while she gets her next sentence together. So she isn't just interjecting a quick correction -- she is essentially asking him to stop talking while she thinks of what to say:
