Are you rooting for icky Ricky.....

Haven't been to DU in a long time, just wondering if people here want to face Romney or icky Ricky. I know it would be easier beating Ricky but I don't know if I can stand him frothing at the mouth over religious issues for 6 months. But then again the vision of Obama humiliating him in a landslide would be priceless and show the world we have progressed passed this anti racial, anti gay country. Thats just not America anymore at-least according to most polls and that's a good thing...

Obama has to face someone, so its Ricky or Mitty, personally I dont fear either of them. I think this will be a landslide either way. One thing Obama has over these guys is he's likable the same thing some would say Bush had going for him.. Ricky and Mitty just aren't likable people...

If Obama loses, I would MUCH prefer that Romney be president - Santorum is completely nuts whereas Romney is merely a wall street guy who does not appear to conflate religion with politics.

I will admit St. Santorum has some strong points but I see problems.....

Rick Santorum’s strong religious faith would certainly improve America’s diplomatic relations with the Church of Rome. Those who follow the true path would surly rally for him as he has gained the support of the American Mullahs after they invested two days of prayre in the holy land of Texas.
His eagerness to confront the Iranian infidel places him in alignment with Israel , our most important alley.
Like Michelle Bachmann, Santorum knows well that the words ‘separation of church and state’ do not appear within the constution. He would work digelenty to restore the Judo Christian environment the founding fathers sought as they fled European style religious percussion.
Mr. Santorum’s views on abortion and house to house searches for banned condoms may however cause difficulties amongst secular voters. Additionally, although generally applauded, his views on the elimination of Food Stamps and Welfare have lost considerable support in the Bla…. Community.

Newt. He will make the trains run on time.
