(32,324 posts)They will be paid the going rate. And if their hard work against the uphill battle of taking in a total victory against those who are fighting with every bit of corruption they have mastered over the decades, then those campaign people of Sanders will be worth every penny!
Far better question is, how does someone continue to pull off such victories, against the odds?

(1,890 posts)These stop supporting Bernie and support Hillary with your votes & dollars are the most insulting posts I've seen from you guys. Your arrogance will not help your candidate.

(11,076 posts)Some people make hundreds of thousands of dollars for a short speech while others donate their time for free. I doubt many in the Bernie camp will make a killing.....especially Bernie. He's working his balls off! His return per hour would be laughable compared to a sweet private speech or two. Have a great evening.

Nice try, though.

Really?!
How much money have Clintons and their networks and big donors already made? How much money do they stand to make if she makes it to the White House?
And for DC consultants and the like it's pretty obvious which campaign would pay better!

Short answer, MILLIONS. Influence peddling is a very lucrative racket. They'll all make serious bank because Hillary will answer their 3 AM phone calls wanting sweet weapons deals or a shitty trade deal and maybe a pipeline or three. Hillary will be their own personal ATM machine. They are only in it because of the potential for a nice payoff down the road.
