2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumGun shop "election season" sale.
I've seen a lot of stupid sales in my lifetime, from Presidents Day mattress sales to inventory reduction events, none of them even make sense. This newspaper type flyer arrived in my mailbox today.
It's late October, couldn't they call it a "Zombie Protection Sale", or "An Oktoberfest Luger & Lager sale"? I really don't even see it as partisan, as they could just as easily add both candidates to the flyer with crosshairs over each and sent the same message, it's just a matter of marketing stupidity in these fiercely divided times:
On edit:
I see the sale ends on election day, so this is a "one shot" deal.

(22,144 posts)The ones I am teaching have come to the realization that the world is not always a nice place and that they are going to have to be the one responsible for tbeir own safety. Pretty mentally tough people. While I would not expect them to hurt others, I do not expect them to commit suicide either
