For us (Obama supporters), it is all about Ohio, Iowa, Nevada, and New Hampshire

And, maybe, CO.

I hope PBO wins more but we really have to tie this up. Volunteers, let us go to work. I wish otherwise but FL is out. So is NC. Now, here is the caveat. If all Dems vote in NC and FL vote, we win. But, there is that tiny drop off that seems to be not picking up.

Dems have really let Mitt off the hook on his tax returns. How can we bring this back?

Also, Obama campaign needs to start giving a small lesson on US justice system. SC judges do not retire until the age of 85. Women voters who are on sideline better know that this is not a question about taking one election off. It looks like too many women are indeed taking this election off.

It is fact. It is all about Ohio, Iowa, Nevada, and New Hampshire. Let us do all we can. WE have to face the reality and fire up our guys and gals.

Plus NC in 2008 polled McCain for much of the campaign. No way is she off the reservation. Don't under estimate the organization their. Romney pulling out resource there is more of a gamble than a sure thing. He has no choice, he cannot win without Ohio.

Colorado - 9 electoral votes.
New Hampshire - 4 electoral votes.
Nevada - 6 electoral votes.

One vote difference.

So, Colorado makes up for those two states.

The pathway to 270 still needs to include Colorado.

I see in this morning's Denver Post that Rmoney and Ryan both will be at Red Rocks next Tuesday for an evening rally.

If women and Latinos are sufficiently motivated, Colorado will go Obama --- and an Obama win here is very important to the prospects for down-ticket Democrats.

By the way, ballots began arriving in the mail yesterday here, now is the time to strike in Colorado. I hope we see Pres. Obama here again soon (Biden was in Greeley this week).

If SC judges are for life, then it is still worse for many who are not aware of this. Pres. Obama needs to make women aware.

Good to hear about FL although all indications seem otherwise. And, as I said, if all registered Dems vote, we still win. I hope they do.

Can't distrust the polls and yet trust them. The Obama campaign said last week the race was stagnant, they were right. They said they had significant leads on OH, IA, WI, and NH. So far looking like they're right about that too. They called BS on Gallup's LV model, well today even a top GOP pollster called BS on Gallup. They said they are liking what they see in FL - well I'm gonna go with them on that. So far their record on the state of the race has been better than the media and us yahoos on the interweb.

although, these two look ok so far. I want to see CO and Nevada move to us.

It pains me to see FL being so close considering Dems have been fighting for seniors and Dream Act. It really looks like Seniors have taken Dems for a ride. I know FL Hispanic issue with Cuban-Americans blindly going Republican. In my state, rural Kansans vote for policies against their own interests as long as it comes from a Republican. What a pity....

Hope I am wrong.

Pew research came out with a poll just now where Romney has caught up with Obama on foreign policy (he trails Obama 43-47). What a joke....And, as usual, it does not include polls after 2nd debate. Gallup and Pew are really off and not keeping up with times. This is not 1980. Of course, this might be GOP hardliners gravitating towards Romney.

Isn't PPP Democratic-leaning? I like to see slightly right off center polls just to be safe.

MI, PA, OH, WI or CO, IA or NV. NH really does not enter into it unless you lose Ohio and combine NH with NC.

Also MI,PA, VA&NH, WI, IA or NV also works.

Also MI, PA, WI, CO, IA, NV, NH gets the job done as well.

MI, PA, VA&NH, CO, IA or NV leads to a tie and a loss for the Obama.

I think you and I are on the same page. VA and FL are still within reach, but they've moved up a few branches. The states we must win are OHIO (without fail), Michigan, Wisconsin, and then win one of these three: Iowa, Nevada, or Colorado.

While I'm optimistic about MI, WI, IA, and NV, the jewel here is OHIO. We absolutely must win Ohio.

Currently shows Virginia at about 50-50. So yes, we may still win there. However, we have a greater chance of carrying Ohio (71%), PA (90%), WI (80%), and NV (67%). That's what I mean when I say "lower-hanging fruit."

I'm not "giving up" on Virginia and Florida. I'm just saying I want to do whatever it takes with the limited resources we have to GET TO 270 ELECTORAL VOTES.

I think NC is a stretch and FL is so incredibly corrupt, I have a hard time believing the state is capable of a clean election. Either way, I don't want this election to come down to FL. It's too risky. Besides, of the two biggies, OH is looking much more encouraging, with the post debate polls not showing the state moving quite as much as some others. I'm not saying the campaign should give on FL. It's too big of a prize, but it's certainly not the state I'd pin all my chances on.

VA and CO, added together are huge. While NC may seem to be slipping away, I don't think VA is gone by any means. And I still believe Obama has a strong chance in CO, with several of the more recent polls showing the state even or with a slight Obama lead.

If Obama takes CO or VA along with NV, IA, WI, and NH, he's a winner (and that's giving away OH). So I really think CO and VA are two states he should be making a huge push in. I think we'll see considerable time spent in those states as well.

I think we have to wait and see on VA. We need more polling done to give us a better idea of the situation there. PPP had a poll today that had Obama by 1. Other recent polls had Romney by 1. Same with CO.

Hoping PPP NH polling is good for Obama. I would take anything over 2 points.

NV, IA, WI, and OH look good for Obama.

We may have a battle but there are very passionate and hard working people here. This is a right to work state and i honestly think people are sometime afraid to say who they are voting for. My husband got a "warning" letter a few years ago, he since has retired but I bet they still go out. Someone came by on a golf cart yesterday and I heard him tell someone "I am with ya"but I can't help work the polls this year, I am still working. When you are worried about keeping a job you keep your vote quiet.

TBF, not depressing votes at all. Just want to make us all aware that they will try to steal elections. They will delay voting in Dem areas on election day. So, if we vote early, we have a greater chance.

I am happy to see there is energy in the states where Obama cannot put as much money as in Iowa and Ohio. He just cannot. Karl Rive and his cronies are legalized election manipulators and we better be aware. Just now I saw that CNN-ORC polls say Obama leads FL 50-43 in registered vote but likely voters is a one point plus for Romney (49-48). We just cannot do what many did in 2010.

I am afraid in the Monday debate, Romney will do some sable rattling to attract FL Jewish voters. We have to beat Romney lies.
